Let’s just call this East Brisbane accommodation. It’s close enough to be called Kangaroo Point, but Wellington Road occupies the division between suburbs. It’s fair enough to say that Kangaroo Point has grown up and matured as vibrant and thriving city fringe area. East Brisbane, is far more established as one of Brisbane’s older inner city residential suburbs, it’s home to many original of Brisbane`s original Queenslander houses.

Accommodation Brisbane

Our accommodation in East Brisbane consists of spacious self contained studio apartments and two bedroom suites. The two bedroom suites are studio apartments plus an interconnecting room containing either a king bed or two single beds with a TV. They also include table & chairs, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, ensuite with walk-in shower, and a balcony or courtyard.

Whether you’ve come to Brisbane for for work or play, we know that we have the accommodation that is perfect for either, and indeed because of our proximity to central Brisbane, the fun part happens anyway.

If you’re not familiar with Brisbane then the Story Bridge Climb is a must do, must see activity. This safe (harnesses included) two hour adventure culminates with you standing on top of the Story Bridge, with a view to some stunning panoramas over Brisbane, while the traffic glides beneath you. It’s an unforgettable experience with not just views but also commentary of the colourful history of the Story Bridge and Brisbane.

For overseas visitors, how about a visit to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. This is one of the few places in the world where you can get to cuddle a koala. You can also hold a snake, owl, or an eagle. For smaller kids, there’s baby chickens and guinea pigs in the barnyard, and you can hand feed kangaroos and wallabies in the reserve.

The Sanctuary is only fifteen minutes away and the Brisbane Transport Service runs two buses that stop inside of Lone Pine. Bus 430 leaves from platform B4 in the Myer Centre Bus Station. Bus 445 leaves from stop 40 on Adelaide St. Feel free to ask our concierge for the best way to travel. There’s also the Translink website you can refer to.
